Elegant Wintertime Wedding at Bella Sera Event Villa

The sophisticated winter wedding of Alyssa and Alex at Bella Sera Event Villa was decorated with pine branch garlands and poinsettias, which created a warm and inviting festive ambience. Under the direction of their in-house planner, Andrea, this Pittsburgh wedding location with a Tuscan villa theme boasts an outstanding staff of wedding experts. Brad Riggio photographed the pair as they walked through the tranquil outdoor areas, and the candlelight during the ceremony in front of the lit stone fireplace was captured on camera by Elevated Media. With a delicate up do and a glitzy holiday ensemble designed by Heart of Glass, Alyssa's off-the-shoulder ballgown embraced classic elegance. DIY fake flowers, which combined white and red roses with tiny ornaments and pinecones, were used to decorate the space. Surrounded by sparkling lights strung from Christmas trees, guests ate at tables covered in velvet tablecloths while enjoying in-house cooking. Bethel Bakery created a gorgeous wedding cake with a glittering, snow-like exterior, and guests enjoyed desserts and a hot chocolate bar. Their cookie table spread also featured gingerbread men and must-have sugar cookies, in keeping with the Christmas spirit.

About the Couple

Working at the "most magical place on earth" led to the romance between Alyssa and Alex. In 2019, both relocated to Orlando, Florida, to work at Walt Disney World. As fate would have it, their first meeting happened at Mombasa Marketplace, a Disney's Animal Kingdom store. Following three years of courtship, they became engaged at Disney's Riviera Resort, completing their love story under the same enchantment that drew them together in the first place.

About the Wedding

Because of their sunny surroundings, Alyssa and Alex decided to deviate from the typical spring or summer wedding customs while living in Florida. They choose to embrace their passion for Christmas and the holidays instead. They found Bella Sera online and took a plane back to Pennsylvania for a venue tour inspired by their Northeastern hometowns. It instantly captured their hearts. It was the ideal location for their dream of a sophisticated Christmas party, and they loved that the wedding package included food, décor, photos, and even a DJ, so they didn't have to deal with many different vendors.

Favorite Moment

It isn't easy to pick a favorite moment from that incredible day! Bella Sera offered a catered brunch of Danishes and mimosas as we dressed. Following her morning drop-off, Alyssa prepared with her immediate family. Later that morning, I came to get dressed with my brother. Before our first glimpse of one another later that day, Alyssa and I alternated between entering and leaving our respective rooms. It was an unforgettable experience to marry the person who became my best friend five years ago and entered my life randomly.
