Boho Glam Wedding at Sparrow Hill Venue

This wedding at Sparrow Hill Venue is the most exquisite fusion of bohemian style with a dash of glamour. Julia selected a color scheme of jewel tones since she loves jewels and geodes. A royal, opulent appearance was achieved by combining teal, burgundy, navy, plum, and hunter green with splashes of gold. As the couple and their guests celebrated the change of seasons, it was the ideal plan for this late September celebration. Following their outdoor ceremony and a few charming photos with Josh and Jeanette, the group moved inside the rustic pavilion. DIY accents, geometric designs, and a personalized neon sign with the couple's initials welcomed guests. After spending many hours dancing, the pair concluded the evening with a spectacular sparkler send-off. This feature's blend of casual and sophisticated elements works well together.

About the Couple

Justin and I had our first conversation at homecoming since meeting in high school. Despite our shared love of sports and the Beatles, our personalities couldn't be more different. Who says Pisces and Leos can't work together?

He introduced me to a new restaurant, the Allegheny Grille in Fox burg, on October 1, 2020. The Allegheny River is directly adjacent to the eatery. We strolled around and enjoyed the stunning fall landscape after supper. We came to the side of a little hill with lovely trees and the lake below. For him to take a photo of me by the river, he instructed me to move in front of him. He was on one knee when I turned around. He had to leap forward and catch me because I was so startled that I nearly went backward down the hill and into the lake! In the end, we laughed the entire time!

About the Wedding

Although it was challenging to pinpoint a specific theme for our wedding, I knew I wanted it to seem more organic, carefree, and slightly glamorous. It is bohemian glam. The colors and flowers were the most crucial elements of my wedding design. Because I adore jewels and geodes, I chose jewel tones, which include dark teal, burgundy, navy, plum, and dark greens, with accents of white and gold. Since these colors aren't often utilized in weddings, they would make ours stand out and be ideal for a wedding during a transitional season. The most distinctive aspect of our wedding was that I constructed my own open geometric flower carriers instead of purchasing terrariums and decorated every table myself.

Favorite Moment

Our wedding party's entrances into the reception were undoubtedly our favorite part of the day. Watching all of our pals enter and enjoy themselves so much while being recognized was hilarious. It was incredible to see how many people were there to support and congratulate us. We truly felt the love in the room; it was the most enjoyable and memorable event.
