Berry Colored Soldiers & Sailors Museum Wedding

Winter celebrations, particularly ones as spectacular as Nicole and Eric's Soldiers & Sailors Museum wedding, have a certain allure. Greenery and purple tones were used to create the traditional style, which was also infused with bohemian elements. A textured cake with sugared fruit, striking floral arrangements by Jim Ludwig's Blumengarten Florist, floor-length bridesmaid dresses, and up lighting from 2nd II None Productions made the berry-like hues pop. Meanwhile, a richly colored statement linen draped over the sweetheart table, the museum's elaborate architectural design, and abundant fresh greenery brought the luscious emerald green to life. Gold embellishments, frosted acrylic table numbers, and a sleek neon sign featuring the partners' initials completed the couple's ideal wedding look. From their unforgettable first glance until the final dance of the music lovers, the combination of sophisticated and somber emotions recorded by Bridge Perspective and Mariah Treiber Photography is incredibly cozy and welcoming. Feel free to check it out for yourself!

About the Couple

We first met in college on New Year's Eve in 2014. He came straight up to me and gave me the incorrect name. He made a good impact since I couldn't stop thinking about him the rest of the evening. Since we first met, we have been together since we could not stop talking.

It is a family tradition for my family to shop in the Strip District just before Christmas for the Feast of the Seven Fishes. The Strip is in our hearts since Eric loved the tradition. He had all of our friends and family waiting for him at the PA Market after he proposed to me in the middle of the Strip. The best day ever was that one. He was pretty romantic and caring.

About the Wedding

The attractiveness of sailors and soldiers is self-evident. I wanted our wedding to take place here even before we got engaged. My romantic bohemian vision came to reality thanks to the building's and the ballroom's striking and dramatic magnificence. The wedding featured a lot of fresh greenery with undertones of dusty purples. We aimed for a romantic atmosphere with lots of candles and gold touches. The combination of the straightforward yet elegant color scheme of Soldiers and Sailors and the moodiness of a December winter wedding, even though it turned out to be sixty degrees!—was ideal for making our vision a reality.

Favorite Moment

Reflecting on our day, I can think of two favorite moments. One of them was our initial glance. We were happy that we did one, let me tell you! I was initially opposed, but we decided to do one after consulting with our photographer. Take a peek! Our schedule proceeded considerably more easily, and we could enjoy those private moments before our wedding. Dancing all night was our second favorite activity. We are the only ones who know the lyrics to almost every song because Eric and I are music lovers. We committed to one another to spend the entire evening dancing to commemorate our marriage.
